2 Pictures, 1 Question
Hello Everyone! The two pictures I decided to include in this post are a picture of mountains/hiking trails and a picture of colored pencils/craft supplies.
I live right next door to Acadia National Park, and I have always had a love for the outdoors. As I got older, I got into hiking and found it to be a natural high for me. I love to hike all over, have traveled here and there to hike and even try to continue my love by toting my one year old on my back and hitting the trail.
I included a picture of colored pencils to represent craft supplies. I am NOT talented at crafting, but still find it relaxing, interesting and fun to try. When making anchor charts for my students, I try my best to make it visually appealing, as well as informative.
My question is: How is everyone doing? What are the ways we can best support each other and our wonderful students during this unknown school year?
Right next door to Acadia! That's a gift and a half. I went to elementary school in Ellsworth and still have a camp in Eastbrook out on Molasses Pond so I get down to Acadia every summer. One of the greatest places on earth.
ReplyDeleteYour two images come together to raise a question for me: How might we use artistic expression to help our students find value in nature during an era of remote and hybrid learning?
